Kyle Andrews is an accomplished actor, screenwriter, playwright, and filmmaker; unaccomplished amateur poker player and ballroom dancer; somewhat obvious Virgo, and father to an adorable lab-shepherd mix.
After a life-long obsession with theater and film, he received his Bachelor of Fine Arts in Acting from Emerson College in Boston (go Sox/Cs/Bs/Pats). He has been fortunate enough to play some of his favorite characters on the stage, from the Cowardly Lion to Eddie from Fool for Love to half a dozen Shakespearean monologists, including both Romeo and Tybalt (though not at the same time; that’d be a weird sword fight). His more than a decade of professional experience includes films, commercials, web series, hosting, and the occasional BuzzFeed video.
In addition to performance, Kyle is a published writer and screenwriting consultant. As the former Development Coordinator at the International Screenwriters’ Association, he helped facilitate the growth of emerging writers as they pursue their own careers, in addition to overseeing several screenwriting competitions and a large roster of script consultants. His (un)romantic comedy short Matchbreakers premiered in 2015 and was selected to several film festivals, and he is currently hard at work on his female-driven comedy TV series Awkward Run-Ins w/My Exes and noir-inspired feature film Last Rights.
